Almond trees in blossom in February 2011

It looks like its a cloudy day, today in Port Vendres, but if you follow the panoramic webcam around the port till you get to the marker for Tour de Madeloc, you'll see the almond trees are in blossom behind our house. We have one in the garden too but its not visible on the webcam.  I'm posting my favourite photo of Port Vendres, (again!) because this is really what it looks like for about 5 months of the year. These colours are what attracted Matisse, Derain, Picasso et al to region.  What could be better than sea, sun and mountains?
