Feedback from Guests June 2012

We just received this feedback from Stephen F. who stayed for one week at the beginning of June 2012:

"The Prettiest part of France..."

Our first time in this part of France (having visited most other parts with young children over the past 12 years), Our kids are now 13 and 16 and we booked this holiday because we liked the look of the garden apartment; the little coves and the idea of walking to the beaches and the little cafes. The apartment was lovely in every way: the views from the windows are sunny and interesting; the living area is spacious, clean and welcoming. The garden areas are numerous as they are bright interesting and secluded. The apartment has everything you could want for a stay. Also easy to find a parking space right outside.. My daughter spent some of the time revising for her GCSEs and she found the apartment quiet enough to get the peace she needed while being only 2 minutes stroll to get an ice cream or a drink. All the nearby restaurants were very good and well priced. I enjoyed going out each morning to get a coffee and some pastries. We were lucky with the weather (28-29 each day in early June.) The nearby beaches were lovely; crystal clear and clean (favourite paulies blue flag beach) and we loved to swim and snorkel each day. My wife and I walked (20 min good pace) to the nearby town of Colliuore - great place to see for the day – very pretty and interesting with great places to shop and eat but hard to park (if you don’t fancy the walk) and a bit too touristy for our liking – however we did go on the little train into the nearby hills which was great. In summary we loved this un-spoilt part of France (definitely our favourite) and will return..
